JUST FOR TODAY! -- Disappearance
From "No More Struggle..."
"Today I do not have to struggle or exert
my will. If I take those Twelve Steps and let my Higher
Power do the real work, my alcohol problem disappears
all by itself. My living problems also cease to be
struggles. I just have to ask whether acceptance -- or
change -- is required. It is not my will, but His, that
needs doing."

Walking
with God in every step of the way. A very unusual
concept for us. Up to the point of Steps 1-3 – we have
been struggling day by day to just function and when we
realize that God is willing to take the lead for us –
and show us how to live even in the smallest details –
then that is when we begin to recover. Even Jesus
prayed for the Father’s will.
The struggle is over – but the battle
will still wage as long as we don’t allow God full reign
in our lives.
There is much truth to let go and let
God!
“And He
withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt
down and began to pray, saying, "Father, if You are
willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but
Yours be done." Now an angel from heaven appeared to
Him, strengthening Him.” -- Luke 22:41-43
