Step Beyond
provides
support for families and friends of
addicts,
whether
the addict is still “using” or not. One
Step Beyond believes
that
addiction is a family illness. In
addiction the families of addicts
are
confronting their own damaged lives and
need healing from their
own
deep wounds. One of the common myths is
the belief that if the
addict
stops, his family’s problems will
disappear.
If
the family is to be healed, they must also
begin a program of recovery.
The good news
is that because of the grace of the Lord Jesus
Christ and
a
believer’s dedication to the rigorous
program of spiritual and physical
recovery,
complete healing (in body, mind, soul and
spirit) is obtainable.
The
One-Step Beyond group offers
a comprehensive approach to the
problem
of addiction that neither denies the power
of Jesus Christ
nor
overlooks the person’s own
responsibility for their own ongoing
recovery.
One
Step Beyond
offers
prayer, spiritual growth and an
understanding
'ear' to women
wanting the healing power of Jesus in
their lives for
total recovery. Open
to women of all ages.
